It's time for an annual tradition.
South Jersey Sports Zone releases its preseason All-South Jersey high school football teams every year in August before the official start of the South Jersey high school football season. The selections are made based on a combination of production in previous seasons and projections for the upcoming season. There are three All-South Jersey preseason teams. In S.J. Sports Zone's postseason package following the conclusion of the season, there will only be two All-South Jersey teams. Each team features two (2) quarterbacks, four (4) running backs, three (3) wide receivers, three (3) all-purpose players, five (5) offensive linemen and one (1) kicker on offense. The defense features four (4) defensive linemen, four (4) linebackers, four (4) defensive backs, five (5) all-purpose players and one (1) punter.
This year's list features Division I commits, previous All-State selections and plenty of under-the-radar talent. The football season is less than three weeks away. Here is the best of the best in South Jersey to keep an eye on this season:
