CAMDEN (N.J.) - The Camden High School football team remained undefeated against South Jersey competition with a 41-0 trouncing of West Jersey Football League Constitution Division rival Haddon Heights on Saturday afternoon.
Eastside transfer Mahki Brunson finished 12-of-14 passing with 257 yards and four touchdowns. Brunson also ran seven times for 91 yards and a pair of scores.
Azir Lee, Malik Redd, D'hani Cobbs, and Terron Loyd each caught a touchdown pass for the Panthers.
Lee caught one pass for an 82-yard house call, Redd hauled in five receptions for 42 yards, and Cobbs charted four receptions for 75 yards.
Syracuse commit Braheem Long, Jr. tallied an interception and a pair of pass deflections on defense. Khalil Dale and Onjae Williams each recovered a fumble as well.
Camden improved its record to 5-1 and will host longtime South Jersey Group 2 rival Haddonfield on October 7. Haddon Heights fell to 3-2 and will host divisional foe Camden Catholic on October 7.
