HADDON TOWNSHIP - Many things have happened since the Haddon Township High School girls' basketball team last won a sectional championship. Six years ago, the Lady Hawks were on top of the South Jersey Group 1 bracket, taking down Wildwood 45-39.

More than a half-decade later, history repeated itself as Haddon Township defeated Wildwood, 42-32, to climb back on top of South Jersey Group 1 in Mark Petito's first year at the helm.

Alli Kamulda posted a game-high 16 points for the Lady Hawks while Kiersten Callahan chipped in 14.

West Chester commit Macie McCracken poured in a team-high 15 points for Wildwood. McCraken ends her illustrious career with 2,478 points for the Warriors.

Haddon Township will play New Providence in the Group 1 state semifinal at Monroe Township High School on Tuesday, March 11.
