GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP - During the 2010s, Timber Creek Regional High School was at the pinnacle of South Jersey high school football.

The Chargers won four South Jersey titles during the decade and compiled a 74-9 record from 2011 to 2017. The Erial program finished with a perfect 12-0 record in 2011 and 2016.

Three players featured on those dominant teams were selected or signed by professional organizations in the 2024 NFL Draft. Tarheeb Still was selected by the Los Angeles Chargers 137th overall in the fifth round, Devin Leary was chosen by the Baltimore Ravens 218th overall in the sixth round and Deion Jennings signed with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent.

Timber Creek honored the three former players with a small private ceremony on Wednesday afternoon.

"I'm just grateful to be in this spot where I was in the same shoes as these kids once looking up to a guy like Damiere Byrd when I was in high school," Leary said. "Being able to be back in this school to give back to the kids and shed light is truly a blessing."
