Paul VI basketball holds off Cherokee in Olympic Conference showdown (PHOTOS)

HADDONFIELD - The Paul VI High School boys' basketball team, ranked 10th in the South Jersey Sports Zone preseason Top 15 rankings, defeated No. 11 Cherokee High School, 46-39, in an Olympic Conference showdown on Tuesday night. Isaiah Thomas led the Eagles with a team-high 16 points. Ivan Moore added 12 and Torren Greene tallied seven. Moore sank four triples. The Eagles improved their record to 2-1.


Judd Holt led Cherokee with a game-high 22 points. The junior connected on four 3-pointers. The loss dropped the Chiefs' record to 2-1.
