Tri-Cape falls to Inter-Ac in fourth straight Carpenter Cup final appearance

PHILADELPHIA - The Tri-Cape team in the Carpenter Cup features players from the Tri-County Conference and Cape-Atlantic League.

The team reached its fourth straight Carpenter Cup final appearance at Citizens Bank Park on Wednesday afternoon.

The South Jersey squad, managed by Highland coach D.J. Gore, fell short to Inter-Ac/Independents, 3-2, on a walk-off sacrifice fly by Jimmy Amplo of the Shipley School in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
